Here’s the bottom line- the only patents that matter in the US are those granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office and Dragonite has the only granted US patents at this time. The patent in question was first filed in the US in 2007 and granted April 17, 2012. Most of the manufacturers in China were not even making e-cigs in 2007. Dragonite recently announced that they were establishing a US-based subsidiary to coordinate distribution, marketing, PR and patent protection in the US- in Southern California. I believe they intend to bring a product into the US and sell it and hope that by that time they have effectively put everyone importing an infringing product out of business.

What about the company named Supper Dragon, that they also hold the patent for the E-Cig and they just handed all the right to a company in California. Can anyone share some words of wisdom this way.

From what i have heard this company just got approved ! this year 2012 by the the UK FDA and the world’s FDA and has shut down companies in china last month. EcigCorp in California is the company that got the right’s for North America, Mexico , Canada , India to distribution

In early 2008, Super Dragon Group Eigarette designed and developed the Eigarette electronic cigarette. Super Dragon makes e-cigarette products at its factory in West Yorkshire, with a warehouse and administrative facilities in Leeds. The Eigarette is patent that was pending in the UK, with product certification that meets European Community health and safety standards.

Does this mean that all ecig sellers online have to contact ecigcorp for approval if selling to the US?

Candy Girl is dead on – all that matters is that the USPTO recognizes just one company – that being Dragonite! That’s all that matters!

Well, I know there is a company that took the exclusive rights over the first true atomizing electronic cigarette. Ecig Corp. now has the right to exercise their right over the patent for their atomizer. Everything on the market today is pretty much a cheap knock off version from the black markets Ecig which have all types of health concerns for the user. Two metal contaminates leak into the nicotine solution, one of these contaminates is lead, which leaks into the solutions from the lead solder joints within the cartridges. The other metal contaminate is the metal casing the liquid solution is contained in, it is oxidizing with the solution. To include these two metal contaminates, you have another cancer causing agent from the fiberglass poising thats from the fiberglass woven cotten material which is saterated with the already lead & other metal contaminated nicotine solution. With that said, a new company, Ecig Corp. will now be in charge of regulating the American Market regarding these device to insure the proper true SGS certified and 5 time International & U.S. Gold Medal Atomizing Electronic Cigarette which will soon be approved by the FDA as an approved electronic cigarette device due to Zero carcinogens and no toxic chemical exposure of any kind and is the first and worlds only true patented ecig. I encourage you to take a look at this Global Electronic Cigarette Patent 1: Pub. No.: WO/2009/105919. If you have anymore questions regarding these claims please fee free to contact me via email. I do know this company has a application pending for the FDA and this version of the atomizer is actually already approved from U.K Health Dept which has the same prerequisites as our FDA so my guess is its not soon before they get the approval. Remember SGS has already tested the device and has proven to be safe of any contaminate and certifies the purity of the vapor created, and also took the following 5 Gold Medal Awards: 1. Gold Award at 39th International Exhibition of Invention of Geneva 2011. 2. Gold Medal of American’s Largest Invention & New Products Exhibition (INPEX) of 2011 Pittsburgh USA 3-4. Double Gold Medals of British International Invention & Design of The Year 2011 London 5. Gold Medal of International Trade Fair of Ideas-Invention-New Products Nuremberg Germany 2011 6. Gold Medal at The 4th International Invention Fair in Middle East 2011 Kuwait

Last post was 7/17/12….where did everyone go???? The newest model of disposable e-cigs NJOY is out and I need to know more about this one. Suposedly NJOY has $12-$14M for their new marketing strategy to be spread over the next several months. I saw a commercial for it and immediatlely purchased it for my husband. Looks, feels, weighs and smokes (vapors) like a real cig. Cost is $7.99 NJ. Rumor has it that Phillip Morris is looking at an acquisition. Anyone know about this? Also does anyone know who manufactures for Sottera Inc. dba NJOY. I know they are shipped from China and not sure if they are made in First Union Tech LTD. My motivation, looking for stock code.

#7 Vapor Vixen on 01.08.13 at 1:11 AM

@disposable – sounds more like you are trying to promote your brand – so have you not read where PM does not think the present e-cig is worthy of their attention – by the way it’s not a publicly traded company. Oh by the way NJOY has placement but it is truly not one of the better units – still leaks and I hear it also is more like a pack of cigs not two – I tried it and it did nothing – I like my Smok Stik better

#8 Disposable on 01.08.13 at 1:46 AM

VV-I came here not to argue but to get info. Not trying to promote anything. I don’t smoke. I love that my husband does not smell like smoke anymore. He has tried multiple brands and hates how most are too heavy. Nope, the NJOY disposable in the Zippo type case does NOT leak like the rechargable NJOY. Feather light with real paper casing and when you bite the end, flexable and feels like a real cig filter. Perhaps you should try it. More like a pack and half, not two. I know Sottera Inc is not public. I was asking who in china is the mfg. Perhaps they are public, like Dragonite. As far as PM not interested, I read an article that they are.

#9 Amuse me on 01.09.13 at 2:19 PM

@VV-
“Disposable” is most certainly promoting NJOY and her posts smack of vested interest. She knows too much about the industry and name drops Dragonite, First Union & Sottera Inc the manufacturer of NJOY in her posts. Only an insider would know these names off the bat. Her entire post is an Ad for NJOY. For everyones information, the KING by NJOY is a “leaker” as most retailers can attest. The nicotine leaks are so common that retailers are refusing to sell the product because of threats of legal action by customers. It has a very high nicotine content and very few puffs. They do a good job of aggressively promoting their low quality products and have become the leading brand by virtue of their marketing skills. Fess up @Disposable. You are a NJOY marketer.

VV-Thank you very much for thinking so highly of me. I’m not a marketer of NJOY, (if NJOY is reading, please hire me since I am so fantastic). I am an office manager in a school. I am home sick with the flu for the last 4 days and did my research. It’s pretty easy to find things on the internet if you know how. Like I said, I am looking to buy some stock and trying to figure out where to put my money. As previously posted, my husband bought the product and was impressed with it. He’s had numerous products before and this is the first one that really felt and smoked like a cigarette. Sorry to disappoint you VV. I still think your the one with the vested interest. You seem a little peeved that I talk highly about NJOY. Really you should try it! You may feel the same way. Sottera, if you would like to contact me for a marketing position, I’m open for discussion.

#11 Vapor Vixen on 01.09.13 at 4:03 PM

@disposable – sorry no vested interest at all just been a user of e-cigs for several year and i think you directed your comments at the wrong individual.

#12 Disposable on 01.09.13 at 5:00 PM

Sorry VV. You are correct. My apologies. I see that was meant for Amuse me. I redirect my comments to Amuse Me.

#13 Amuse me on 01.09.13 at 11:35 PM

@Disposable. The only publicly traded company in the E-cigarette business is Vapor Corp. OTCBB – VPCO .

#14 Sweetness on 01.14.13 at 12:48 PM

I think there are much better products on the market than this hyped up brand. I think the site administrator needs to remove those comments that seem to be posts from folks marketing a brand. Too much infighting in the business.

I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own blog and
was curious what all is required to get setup?

I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny?

I’m not very internet smart so I’m not 100% certain. Any recommendations
or advice would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks

it was the biggest mistake to sell e-cig patents to a Tobacco company thank you Hon lik for that you made hopefully lots of money because it is your fault now if peaple have to buy tobacco cigarettes again ,because all we get now is the total destruction of the ecig market because all the good working ecigs from the last 5 Years will vanish ,Imperial is already on the Crusade and tries to kill Shops who sell ecigs in Europe
