RUYAN AMERICA AND PRIME TIME INTERNATIONAL SIGN AGREEMENT
Ruyan America, Inc., Minneapolis, MN, and Prime Time International Company, Phoenix, AZ, announced that they have executed an “Exclusive Product Development, Brand Marketing and Supply Agreement.” Under the terms of the agreement, Prime Time will become the exclusive North American distributor and marketer of Ruyan America’s digital smoking alternatives and will provide input and direction with respect to Ruyan’s future product development initiatives, to include design, formulation, distribution, branding, labeling and marketing.
Initially, Prime Time will distribute Ruyan’s RAPP® digital, E-mystick®, a battery powered, personal, portable, and disposable vaporizer containing a long-established lobelia based supplement. The product is classified as a non-tobacco smoking alternative. It is not intended to be used for smoking cessation or deterrent. The product is formulated and assembled in the United States, using the finest and purest ingredients available domestically. Prime Time and Ruyan will cooperatively develop other formulations and designs for similar purposes. Ruyan America currently has patents pending for a variety of formulations using its patented designs and delivery systems.

Is a deal that complies with FDA regulations and can please the tobacco community possible?
It appears that it is.
Any one know where you can get the product. I’d really like to test this product out. It must be something pretty good to see this type of alliance be established. I wonder if Ruyan will begin to defend some of their patents. I always liked the Prime Time team.
This is excellent news! I’m sure the quality of the Ruyan e-cigarettes will increase with this, and I’m looking forward to purchasing one in the near future.

ROFL — could writing not be more clear on wall that FDA is banning this product? This will last about as long as flavored cigars — which is probably what why the partner is PRIME TIME!
Considering that the primary ingredient has been and is currently sold with the FDA’s knowledge and blessings in thousands of stores on what grounds would the FDA reverse coarse and ban the Ruyan RAPP ?
Hello outside, because it is an UNAPPROVED DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE and that is why FDA is banning importation at border — just matter of time before they start seizures. Smell the coffee!

On a far more important matter involving e-cigarettes,
last week Smokefree Pennsylvania, The American Council on Science and Health (ACSH), Consumer Advocates for Smokefree Alternatives Association (CASAA), National Vapers Club, Midwest Vapers Group and Drs. Michael Siegel and Joel Nitzkin filed an Amici Curiae Brief with the DC Court of Appeals in support of litigation filed by electronic cigarette marketers Smoking Everywhere and NJOY against the US FDA.

Bertram – it’s obvious that your not in touch with the recent filings against the fda which are pretty significant. I’d say the FDA could actually fly a white flag soon.
I will but a chinese flag on my boat if the FDA loses that case.
Now Bertram that would be pretty funny but some legal experts think the FDA is on very soft ground and that the arguments proposed by the WLF and others are very strong! Better go purchase that flag!
I tried a Ruyan Rapp yesterday – Doesn’t look like a e-cig. Actually tried it and it tasted great. Good product. It worked which was neat.

Ruyan Group (Holdings) Limited (HKG:0329) announced that the patent application for electronic atomization cigarette has been approved in the United States by the United States Patent And Trademark Office (USPTO). In addition, as advised by USPTO, prosecution on the merits of the application has been closed.
The certificate of such patent, when issued, will be under the name of an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, Ruyan said.
So what does the patent do to others in the industry? Are they going to go after retailers selling non-ruyan products? This will be interesting to watch.
Hey Bertram – The FDA is a couple of years away from doing anything you reference. They have a strong possibility of losing the case as it stands which has nothing to do whether they ban them.
