It really makes little sense for TPE to cast stones as the show was dying a very quick death. None of the majors really attended. I hope that the majors support NATO as they are actually trying to have a say and are supporting the industry.

TPE sent a letter out slandering NATO today. Besides the letter looking like a total act of desperation, I can’t believe the guy that runs TPE would do something as stupid as sending out a letter like this.

Well they get the support also of those that really don’t show up at the show now. It’s a real good move. I haven’t been to that show in a couple of years as it just lost it’s value to my business once the leaders began not showing up in booths.

I’m glad NATO is finally having its own trade show. Tom Briant is great and the organization does everything it can to help the industry.

I know I will support the NATO show and no longer go to the TPE.

It’s been a good show. Seems smaller than usual. But lots of time to meet folks. Lots of filter cigars!
