The Inter-Tabac exhibition held at Dortmund’s Westfalenhallen is 30 years old this year and bigger than ever covering three large contiguous exhibition halls.
The show encompassses the entire product related side of the industry and is attended by a wealth of visitors from across the globe. Exhibitors have on show every conceivable tobacco product and smoking accessory. The focus naturally tends to be Germany first, then the rest of Europe followed by the rest of the world.
The show is well attended including many retail visitors and distributors over the weekend.
This is a good overall marketing opportunity but is especially good for new products and for contacts at the wholesale, distribution and retail level.
